Train the trainers
On Tuesday, November 22, the SWITCH-Asia Project "Train the trainers" in cooperation with the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) held a seminar on "Sustainable urbanization in China".
The event was organized under the framework of the "2011 EU-China Year of Youth"
A strong believer in the role of the youth in understanding, disseminating and supporting environmental care and sustainable development at large, "Train the Trainers" reached out to the prestigious Shanghai-based Academy to join efforts and mobilize Master's and PhD students' to discuss past experiences, lessons learned, challenges and opportunities for cooperation faced by China and Europe in their respective urbanization processes.
